How to connect a Google Ads account
Generate the script in the dashboard, paste it into Google Ads, authorize and run it — after that the data arrives on its own.
Connecting takes a couple of minutes and requires no Google password. You create a personal script, paste it into your Google Ads account and run it once — we set up the schedule ourselves.
Step 1. Create a connection
In Piv Ads → Google, click "Connect account". Give it a name and choose the privacy toggles (what you allow us to send). By default only statistics and statuses are sent — see Privacy settings for details.
Step 2. Copy the script
The dashboard generates ready-made code with a unique token inside. Click "Copy".
Step 3. Paste it into Google Ads
- Open Google Ads → Tools and settings → Bulk actions → Scripts
- Click + (new script) and paste the code
- Click Authorize and grant the Google Ads Script access to your account
- Click Run
Step 4. Done
After the first successful run, the data appears in the dashboard within a minute or two, and we turn on the recurring schedule automatically. Nothing else to do.
