Campaign types: what we track and what you can launch

The panel collects analytics for all the main campaign types, and you can launch campaigns straight from the panel for four of them.

There are two separate things to keep in mind: which campaign types the panel can analyse (track), and which ones you can create (launch) right from the panel via the campaign wizard.

What we track (analytics)

The panel collects stats for all the main Google Ads campaign types — and shows type-specific data for each:

  • Search — keywords, Quality Score, search terms, impression share
  • Display — placements, audiences, demographics
  • Video — view metrics and quartile retention
  • Shopping — product groups, impression share
  • Performance Max — asset groups and products
  • App — installs and in-app actions
  • Demand Gen — placements, audiences, video metrics
  • Hotel — bookings and value

The type is always shown as a coloured badge next to the name, and irrelevant tabs are hidden.

What you can launch from the panel

You can create a new campaign right in the panel (via the wizard) for four types:

  • Search
  • Demand Gen
  • Display
  • App
Video and Performance Max can't be launched from the panel yet — creating them through Google Ads Scripts isn't reliable. The panel can still analyse them if they already exist in your account. Launch support may be added later.
