Cloudflare or Custom Nameservers
Point your domain to Cloudflare with automatic SSL right after registration — or delegate to your own nameservers.
Right after registration you can set up the domain in one of two ways — choose at purchase time.
Cloudflare (default)
We automatically create a Cloudflare zone and issue an SSL certificate. DNS records (A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT) are managed directly from the dashboard; Cloudflare proxying is toggled with a single checkbox.
Custom NS
If you run your own infrastructure, specify your nameservers and the domain will be delegated to them. Cloudflare is not used in this mode.
You can switch to custom NS at any time — via domain settings or the API.
